Want to learn what it takes to be a lifeguard? Come join us in our Junior Lifeguard Camp where you will learn the foundational skills required for lifeguards while on the job!
The Junior Lifeguard Camp introduces youth to the fundamentals of lifeguarding through a fun, safe, and engaging program aligned with the American Red Cross Junior Lifeguard curriculum. Campers will build strong swimming skills, learn water safety principles, practice age‑appropriate rescue techniques, and develop teamwork and leadership skills.
Through hands‑on training, fitness activities, and interactive rescue scenarios, participants gain confidence in and around the water while learning what it takes to be a lifeguard. Daily activities include swimming endurance, rescue skills, first aid awareness, emergency response concepts, and team‑building challenges.
This camp is designed for swimmers who are interested in water safety, leadership, and potentially pursuing lifeguard certification in the future. All activities are supervised by certified aquatic professionals and adapted to be developmentally appropriate for ages 11–15.
Please note: This program is instructional and does not provide lifeguard certification.
